Green Planet Eco Certified Global Standards

Our certification evaluates eight domains across energy, water, buildings, waste, food, transport, social impact, and governance. Below is a concise overview of the requirements we assess.

1. Energy & Climate

  • Use of renewable energy sources (solar panels, wind energy, green tariffs).
  • Minimization of CO₂ and greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Carbon footprint accounting and a reduction plan.

2. Water & Resources

  • Water-saving systems (aerators, reuse, rainwater harvesting).
  • Minimization of leaks and water losses.
  • Eco-friendly wastewater treatment technologies.

3. Buildings & Infrastructure

  • Use of energy-efficient and eco-friendly building materials.
  • Certification under international standards (LEED, BREEAM, Estidama, etc.).
  • Availability of green zones: vertical gardens, hydroponic walls, landscaping.

4. Waste Management

  • Separate collection and recycling of waste.
  • Reduction of single-use plastics.
  • Programs for reuse of materials.

5. Food & Products

  • Use of organic, local, and hydroponic products.
  • Reduction of food waste (food-sharing, composting).
